Context
Samsung Academy Now is a mobile learning application to engage sales representatives of different vendors through fun, fast, and effective training. Virtual scenarios and interactive product demos allow the users to get a deeper understanding of Samsung mobile products to make suitable recommendations to their customers. Infusion team designed and built the application.
It’s available on Google Play at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.samsungacademynow.app.
PROJECT GOALS
The current Samsung Academy Now focuses on educating the target audience (sales representatives) about Samsung’s mobile products. In Version 2.0, we incorporate not just Samsung mobile products but the Samsung ecosystem. The goal is to build a longterm engagement with our target audience through gamification.

My Role as UX Designer
I ran several brainstorming sessions with the creative director and UX director to set the design direction and content strategies. I explored the direction further with wireframes to visualize the concept that will leverage the content we have created the most.

The Envisioned Experience
As an end user (sales representatives), the ultimate goal is to become a certified advocate. The road to certification and advocacy involves a deep understanding about Samsung ecosystem in order to make suitable recommendations. Once the users complete learning materials and interactive scenarios with virtual customers, they are certified and unlock the road to advocacy. Every completed learning material and interactive scenario give the users points. Accumulated points can be exchanged into vouchers which incentivize the users in the long run.
